To prepare for her career as a nurse, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel College in 1996 and a Master of Science in Nursing in nursing administration from Keiser University in Fort Lauderdale in 2013. Well-qualified in her field, she is a registered nurse and certified wound care nurse. As part of her commitment to the profession, Ms. Meyers is a member of the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society, the American Nurses Association, and the Wound Healing Society.
